Travel to Courmayeur, to arrive in time for the Evening Briefing. Your guide will run through safety routines and kit checks, as well as hand out rental equipment for the week, before we go on to a detailed discussion of everyones ambitions for the week, together with the current weather and mountain conditions and how these affect our planning. We’ll also have maps and guidebooks to show you, so if you’ve any further questions or last minute requests, then this is the ideal time to bring them up before we head on to dinner. Transfer from Courmayeur to Cervinia and from here catch the cable car to Plateau Rosa. Your first 4000m ascent of the week is the Breithorn (4165m), a short climb but good for acclimatization. Ski descent to Refugio Ayas for the night. Overnight in the hut.

An early alpine start for good conditions to skin to the summit of Castor (4228m). We traverse the narrow ridge of Castor on crampons. After some great mountain views, there is an exciting and sometimes steep ski descent to the Refugio Quintino Sella where we stay the night. Overnight in the hut.

From the Quintino Sella Refugio, you ascend by ski to Il Naso on the toe of Liskamm where a steep sideslip or abseil allows a ski descent to the recently renovated Refugio Mantova hut for the night. Overnight in the hut.

Today is the highest point of the ski tour with an ascent of Signalkuppe (4554m). From here we return to the Mantova Hut. This is one of the most spectacular ski descents in the Alps. Overnight in the hut.

An early start to ascend to Giordani Peak (4046m) and we descend back to Staffal (Gressoney la Trinité). From Staffal transfer with different bus to Courmayeur. Overnight in the valley. End of program.

After a night of well-deserved rest, departing from Courmayeur for your destination.
