Aiguille de Toula is a summit in the Mont Blanc group situated between Aiguille d’Entrèves to the southwest and Grand Flambeau to the East, along the watershed that divides France from Italy.

Ideal for acclimatising on, it’s also route that can be done even in poor weather, so it’s a useful one to know about. After a short approach from Helbronner, the route is climbed via a few pitches of ice to the summit slopes. The descent is made by the north flank which is a short, steep snow slope.
