Based on peakery data, it ranks as the 22nd highest mountain in Italy. Punta Giordani belongs to the Alps 4000m Peaks peak list.

The normal route to the summit from the Italian side starts from the top of cablecar at Punta Indren where we cross the Indren Glacier towards Gnifetti Hut. Go up the glacier which descends from the right. Firstly we stay on the right and then in the middle of the glacier in order to reach the flat and snowy ridge; the summit is on the right.
